My name is Lena Binzer and I'm a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm an animal science and microbiology double major. After graduation I plan to attend veterinary school in order to become a large animal vet. I'm from Myersville, MD, a small town in Frederick County.

I am finance chair of the Maryland Music Business Society as well as a tutor for local elementary school students. Outside of school, I love to listen to all kinds of music and just chill with my friends.

Kelly Grob is a senior Bioengineering and Pre-Med student at the University of Maryland College Park. She is originally from Howard County Maryland, where she attended Howard High School. Kelly is the President of the Maryland Women's Crew Team, has an internship with the American Red Cross organization at the University, and works with a Bioengineering professor in the department.

Hi, I'm Junjie Hao, and I'm a senior at the University of Maryland double majoring in chemistry and statistics. After graduation I plan on attending graduate school in chemistry, with interests in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. Outside of classroom and lab, my favorite activity is probably singing, which is probably what I'll be doing when you see me.

Hi! My name is Laura Li and I'm majoring in biochemistry. I hope to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. For now, you'll see me in the emergency room of Shady Grove Hospital transporting patients to their rooms. I hope I don't see any of you there, but if you are, stop by and say hello. I am also a math tutor at a local elementary school with the America Reads and America Counts program. Other then that you'll see me on a volleyball court or curled up with a book and listening to music.

Hi! My name is Sowmya Swamy. I am currently a senior at the University of Maryland double majoring in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, and Government and Politics. I am the founder of the Marrow for Tomorrow Club on campus that raises awareness and holds drives for the issue of bone marrow donation. I am also a member of the College of Chemical and Life Sciences student advisory board, and seek to resolve issues commonly faced by students in the college. Other than that I love to travel, meet new people and have as much fun as I can!

Hello, my name is Max Wolf. I'm majoring in chemistry, biology and physics. My work interests are more related to the study of evolution and the origin of life. When I can allow myself to forget about work, I enjoy traveling and hiking in places that are far away from people. If there's not enough time to get out of town, I have volleyball, my acoustic guitar, jigsaw puzzles and books. If all else fails there are always games on my computer!

Hi, my name is MengMeng. I am a Biochemistry and Economics major at the University of Maryland. Extracurricular wise I'm active with a variety of groups on campus including Peer Leadership Council, University Student Judiciary, and Honors Ambassadors (all of which are very found of acronyms, thus: PLC, USJ, and HAs). Outside of structured activies, you can probably find me curled up in a tree with a book, browsing Deviant Art (www.deviantart.com- you should visit), drawing, painting, enjoying the wind/shade, singing (most likely while drawing and/or reading), or with my awesome friends.

My name is Mary Yanik, and I'm majority in chemistry and government and politics. I'm from Emporia, KS, and I now am a senior at the University of Maryland. I am interested in the social implications of scientific discoveries. I love political theory and progressive politics; I am very involved in labor and feminist activism through the student organization, Feminism Without Borders. I intend to go to law school once I graduate from Maryland. I also enjoy intercollegiate debate, where I represent the Maryland Parliamentary Debate Society.
